Here we are, the first iteration CAD model of the Rutan Quickie is finished. This episode involves me say "and we're done" several times before realising that I have forgotten something.
I cut out a control run for the elevator servo, and split the canopy adding in some strengthening to the fuselage edge as well as designing a latch and magnetic lock for the canopy.
Next week we will enter the world of Cura and look at how to slice the .stl files ready for printing. These will be useful even if you don't plan to use Fusion to build your own aircraft as hopefully you will understand more about troubleshooting print problems.
