Z-Hop Settings - Sharing my CR-10s Pro Profile

    in Technical Forum

Jon, I saw your blog post (https://www.rc3dprint.com/post/3d-printing-how-just-one-setting-can-make-weighty-a-difference) and thought I'd share the profile that I've used to print your Piaggio parts so far.

I've had good success combining the guidance from your Pilatus Porter build notes (https://www.rc3dprint.com/porter) mixing with some settings that I've tuned over time printing other airframes and no - I don't turn on z hop when retracted either.

Below are photos of a wing root and an elevator from your Piaggio design (https://www.rc3dprint.com/post/the-ferrari-of-the-skies-piaggio-avanti) you can just see the surface dimples with the infil underneath.

I weighed these parts at 25g Left Wing Root and 17g Left Horizontal Stab.

Creality CR-10S Pro V2 Settings, Ender's, CR-10's should all be similar. Mine is stock from factory.
